- March 9th, 1975: Born in Hamburg, Germany.
- June 25th, 1994: Abitur at the Gymnasium Heidberg (secondary school), Hamburg with grade 1.9.
- July 1994 – July 1995: Compulsory military service.
- August 1995: Moved to Heidelberg, Germany.
- August 28th, 1995: Enrolment at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Principal subject: Physics, subsidiary subject: Astronomy.
- August, 1998: Left the university after the sixth semester without any certificate ;)
- January 4th, 1999: Married my wonderful wife Katrin.
- March 2nd, 2002: Experienced the birth of our daugther Esther.
- May 2002 – December 2004: Employed as software developer at BetterNet GmbH, Heidelberg, Germany.
- September 2005: Registration of a business as software developer.
- September 2007: Moved to Zürich, Switzerland.
- September 2007 – July 2020: Employed as Site Reliability Engineer at Google Switzerland GmbH, Zürich, Switzerland.
