Not linking is no protection 2
Another thing caught my eye while examining the access.log:
On February, 11th a bot called "Mediapartners-Google/2.1" visited my local version of odahoda.de. The seems to be some bot associated with Google's AdSense program (although the UserAgent string seems to be "Mediapartners-Google/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)" usually - but it originates from one of Google's hosts, so it seems to be real).
WTF is this one doing here? There are no ads on the new site - oh stop...
In the middle of the previous sentence I decided to take another look at the log. The last request before the first "Mediapartners" hit was from an Opera browser (that was me). And Opera has ads. And these ads tell the ad provider (obviously Google here) which site you are visiting - even if it is a 'not-supposed-to-be-known-outside-website'…
